For most general zoning and permitting inquiries, you can find information here on the City’s website. You can also email your inquiries to email@example.com or via the MyHB app on your mobile device.
The City is not accepting new applications for plan check or issuing new permits for brand new projects at this time. We are working on some protocols and technology tools to enable us to safely serve the public which we hope to have up and running by April 1st. Our website will be the best place to check for this new information once available.
Currently, we are offering inspection services for projects that are currently under construction. To schedule an inspection please go to: https://huntingtonbeachca.gov/services/forms-applications/inspection-request/ and complete the form. Someone will be in touch with you to schedule an inspection. Also note that all inspections are being conducted electronically so you will need a smart phone or tablet with the ability to utilize FaceTime.
Code Enforcement related matters may be reported at 714-375-5155. Please note that reports of non-essential business operations should be reported to the Police Department via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
